Set 2 in the Victorian Trade Cards series!
Victorian Trade Cards were a popular form of 1880's advertising, particularly in the latter part of the century during the Victorian era. Companies would pass out these beautifully illustrated cards and people would collect them, often pasting them into scrapbooks or even framing them for wall art. While antique trade cards came in a variety of shapes and sizes, the most popular were approximately 3 x 5" rectangles.
These days, individual vintage cards are very collectible and tend to be quite pricy - $5 to $10 each and higher for special cards. This can be out of reach for many crafters, especially if they want to cut and/or glue the card into a journal, collage, or other artwork. This is why I've decided to start making my huge collection available to crafters in digital form so you can print them at home.
My collection includes both physical cards and digital copies that I've obtained from a variety of lesser-known sources. When I create the printable collage sheets, I resize and enhance as necessary to obtain a quality print, but I have left much of the wear and patina that have accumulated with age.
There are 20 vintage cards included in this set - 4 pages with 5 cards each. They are standard US-letter size sheets provided in JPG format. Colors may vary somewhat from your monitor display. Print as many times as you'd like on whatever paper you like, but keep in mind that print quality is affected by your paper choice - better quality paper gives crisper, brighter prints.
